From my perspective, this has been one of the most engaging and fulfilling experiences in my career so far. The training approaches and session quality were exceptional. The LVP team’s expertise, commitment, and patience were clear throughout, and the training facilities were excellent. These elements together created an environment that made it easy to concentrate on the key task of validating and choosing the right suppliers.
As a Controls Engineer, my background was mainly engineering, but this process gave me valuable insight into manufacturing, procurement, purchasing, and production. It broadened my understanding beyond my technical role, allowing me to appreciate how these functions integrate. Moreover, the training greatly boosted my public speaking skills, which was an unexpected yet very positive outcome. We were also lucky to visit and assess some of the top manufacturers worldwide, companies I had only known by reputation and never thought I would negotiate with directly.
Also, the suggestion to hold a second session focused specifically on electronics, proposed by our LVP consultant, was a great enhancement. It gave suppliers a clearer insight into our electronic component needs and improved communication overall.
